Visa Fee
It ranges from PHP 1,500 depending on the type of VISA.
Processing Time
Approximately 10 working days from the time application is received by the embassy (can be extended without prior notice).
Japan General Requirements
- Duly accomplished and signed application form (printed in A4 size paper). Kindly download and fill out the Japan Visa Application Form and upload it through our Contact Us page or the in our form below.
- 1 pc passport size colored picture (white background).
- Original passport (at least 6 months valid beyond intended stay).
- Original Old passport with previous Japan Visa (if applicable).
- Original bank certificate (issued within the last 3 mos upon application) with 6 months Average Daily Balance or ADB.
- Copy of latest income tax return (form 2316 with signature of employee and employer; for business ITR, please attach copy of receipt from BIR).
- Original PSA authenticated birth certificate (issued within a year).
- Original PSA marriage certificate (issued within a year – if married).
- Original authorization letter (for visa filing and pick-up).
- Daily schedule in Japan.
Special Requirements
- Original employment certificate (must include applicant’s position, date hired, compensation, office address, landline numbers and e-mail address)
- Copy of business registration from DTI or SEC
- Copy of business permit or mayor’s permit
- Copy of school ID
- Original letter of guarantee signed by the parent or guardian
- Copy of senior citizen card or retirement documents
- Original letter of guarantee if senior is dependent signed by spouse, children or sponsor
- Copy of i-card
- Letter of guarantee signed by the sponsor
- Copy of guarantor or sponsor’s valid ID
- Original bank certificate of the company
- Copy of business documents and ITR of the company (If employed, company alphalist. If self-employed, receipt from accredited bank of BIR).
Special Requirements
Note : Simplified Visa Requirements for below eligible applicants effective February 01, 2024 are exempted to submit financial documents such as original bank certificate, bank statement, and photocopy of ITR:
- Elected Politicians such as Members of the Senate, Members of the Congress, Governors, Provincial Board Members, Mayors
- Government officials such as persons with a rank higher or equal to Assistant Secretary of the Executive Branch of the PH Government, and Brigadier General of the AFP or PNP (excluding those in acting duties)
- Professional license holders such as Physicians, Dentists, Pharmacists, Veterinarians, Lawyers, and Certified Public Accountants (with valid PRC ID or IBP ID)
- BDO Gold or BDO Elite Credit card holders (excluding supplementary credit card holders)
Personal appearance is not required (unless the Embassy request for it).
